Who We Are
West Texas Dairy Construction was
started by Mike Hancock in 1984 in the
Stephenville, Texas area. Mike and his crew have built dairies
throughout Texas and New Mexico.
In the late 80's and early 90's most
dairies were open lot design. Beginning in the late 90's more of our
Dairies began to look at Freestall design both from a waste management
consideration, and from a milk production consideration.
In the early 2000's dairymen began
to consider rotary parlors as cow numbers increased, and milking time
requirements increased.
Through out all of these changes
West Texas Dairy Construction has stayed current with the latest
technology for each system, designing and building dairies to meet the
changing times.
In the early 2000's Tom White came
onboard to help with construction in the expanding area of the Texas
Panhandle. With his 30 years experience in the construction industry,
and as a registered Professional Engineer, Tom added a new design
dimension to the abilities of the Company.
